Cowal Golf Club, Dunoon is a friendly club run by its Members for its Members. Located in the beautiful town of Dunoon, with outstanding views of the Cowal Hills and the River Clyde, the Club was established in 1891 following its design by the legendary designer, James Braid. In 2021, 130 years later, Cowal Golf Club completed its revival, after two arduous years, having been on the market following financial difficulties. It gives the Club Trustees great pleasure to oversee Cowal Cowal Club's continues success and see it back onto Scotland's Golfing map, where it was once well known for its Tartan Tour Pro-Am sponsored by Western Ferries, and for producing the likes of Walker Cup player and Honorary Member Lorne Kelly. Over the last 3 years, much voluntary work has both maintained and revived the Club, and the Club is currently played over 12 challenging holes. The Trustees, Committee and Members will forever be indebted to those who have invested so much time and energy to keep our Club afloat.

Offering a deceptively challenging test of golf, the Captain, Committee and Members have huge ambition for the future of the Club, and aim to both attract new Members and Guests, and become a thriving destination for golfers of all abilities.
